Mocha Rouge

Used:
*base coat (Sinful Colors, Nirvana)
*Roses:
  -OPI, Bubble Bath
  -OPI, Strawberry Margarita
-Wet n Wild, Through the Grapvine
*Leaves (CQ, Mint Green)
*Sponged (Orly, Buried Alive)
*Top Coat (wet n wild wild shine clear)
*wooden skewer
*Make up sponge

I absolutely loved this design. At first I wasn't in love with it but after a day or two I was in love. I modeled it after my favorite Vera Bradley pattern. It's absolutely beautiful and have great colors. I made the flowers with my wooden skewer thing and sponged on some glittery brown afterward. It added a nice contrast to the look.

Orange and Green for Halloween

Used:
*Green (Essie, Mojito Madness-2 coats)
*Orange (Pantone+Sephora, Tangerine Tango- 2 coats)
*Glitter (Unknown, Jack o Lantern- 1 coat)
*Brown sponged on (Orly, Buried Alive)
*Polish pen
*Top coat (wet n wild wild shine clear)

I wasn't sold on this mani so I didn't wear it very long. Which is why the sides are so messy, this shot was right after they were finished. I think I would have liked it better if I used the same base on every nail instead of the half and half effect.
I also used polish pens to draw the pumpkin face, in case anyone was wondering.
Well I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished halloween!!!

Watermelon Blitz

Used:
*lighter pink (Finger Paints, Heavenly Hydrangeas)
*hot pink (Sally Hansen, Twisted Pink)
*Glitter (Wet n Wild Fergie, Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night)
*Maybelline Green With Envy
*Wet n Wild French White Creme
*Sinful Color Matte Top Coat
*Wet n Wild, clear coat

This was really simple. I have the before look on another post if you want to check that out. But all I did was taped off the nail and painted on the green. I used a plastic bag for the white and added matte top coat to it then took the pieces and cut them into straight lines that I attached to my semi wet nails since they stick quite well on their own.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished October!!!

Vampy gradient

This was a new idea for me, and i swear it is an ombre. Just a very subtle one.
Process:
* sponged black on tips. Making it fade away from the tips.
* added 2 coats of nyc, lincoln center. Which worked really well cause its a jelly like polish that builds up, but takes three coats to be really dark.
* added top coat.
And ta da. I like how it makes such a perfectly smooth gradient, unlike dry brush and even sponging sometimes. If anyone feels like trying it and get a better pic, feel free to add pics in the comments.
Enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Newspaper mani with water

Process:
*3 coats revlon cloud
* sponged on wet b wild, french white creme over it
* took half of a cotton pad and dipped it in WATER.
* added a small nail sized piece of newspaper on the cotton pad.
* placed both on nail and, newspaper down, and held there for a few long seconds.
* added top coat.

I learned from the internet that water works just as well as alcohol and had a newspaper article about Once Upon a Time sitting around so of course i used it. I love how they turned out, since they were super cool and the sponging added an old look to them.
So hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!
