Pepper-minty

Today is a simple swatch of ciate pepperminty that i got with my color foil kit. Its my absolute favorite color now. Its bright, pastel and perfect with my skin tone. I actually wore it by itself for two days and when i added nail art, which ill show you later, it was minimal.
This is two coats, its still a little streaky but i dont mind since my nails arent that long.
Well i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Pepperminty foil

Used:
*ciate, pepperminty
*ciate foil, gold silver and pink
*Wet n wild, wild shine top coat

I sad to report that this top coats make the foil look less shiny. Also the pink foil in this kit was very runny with my one fast dry top coat and a newer bottle of the above top coat. My thicker bottle didnt though, which makes me assume thicker top coats are better than thinner ones for this kit. I wish that they included a top coat that they tested with this kit to make it a little better.
Also in some areas it seems that the top coat has dissapeared and exposed the foil, which made some of the foil come off.
Anyway i still really like this foil stuff and its an easy way to make your nails look exciting. And you only need three coats of polish.
The best part though is how easy the removal is. The foil basically deteriorates with nail polish remover!!!
So enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

My awesome new case

I finally got an amazing new coach case for my phone. Its hot pink and rubberized awesomeness. Its a little weird because its smaller, well thinner than anyone ive had before. Im used to a completely rhinestoned case thats not smooth or a rubber case that made my phone feel really thick. So i hope you like it as much as i do and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Another kiss please

Used:
*avon, blue royale (1 coat)
*icing, kiss and tell (3 coats)
*wet n wild, wild shine top coat
*dotting tool

This is just a revamp on my last post. So enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

P.s. I have a very exciting new look coming up!!! At least i think it is.

Kaleidoscopic Klash

I finally got a Ciate manicure kit. It was on sale at Marshall's for $10!!! It was worth it just for the paint pot itself, especially since it's the perfect Tiffany blue, which I have been dying to get my polished paws on. So without further a do, my first look with this pretty awesome kit.

Used:
*Ardoise, Sinful Colors (2 Coats)
*Shredded, Icing (1 Coat)
*Wet n Wild Wild Shine Top Coats
*White Polish pen, Aero
*Bloom foil from Ciate kit
*Beaut foil from Ciate kit
*Ciate foil fix

As you'll see I didn't use the polish this came with yet, which is called Pepperminty and I adore as I wrote above. It's beautiful. But since I'm impatient and I always get yelled at for playing with polish because of the smell and I just finished my previous mani yesterday. I decided to put the foil over my current mani instead, to see what it would look like.
For some reason the formula of Ardoise is horrible, it bubbles yuckily (and this happened the last time I used it too), plus the brush is all weird. The color is amazing but the formula makes it unwearable by itself bc of the bubbles, at least for me.Which is where shredded and then the pens and lastly the foil came in.
I'm hoping to wear this mani for a few days since I really want to wear foil for my first day back to class mani. That may change though, due to the fact that I may end up doing it earlier. Argh! Well enjoy, sorry for the rant and have a perfectly polished day!!!

I found these two pics in a google search, since my sucky camera will not make them this easy to see and nice.

Spotted flora

Used:
*spoiled, toad-ally amazing (2 coats)
*OPI, unknown mini (2 coats)
*Milani, white (for large dots)
*Unknown, black (for large dots)
*Aero, polish pens black and white (for flower on accent nail)
*Wet n Wild, Wild Shine clear coat
*Home made dotting tool (pencil and large pin with circle on top)

I really loved this design and wore it for quite awhile. If my nails didn't grow so fast I might have worn it longer but I hate when my nail polish isn't near the nail bed, to me it looks like I missed part of my nail.
Another thing I've started to realize lately is that my Wet n Wild, Wild Shine top coat is pretty amazing. It does streak sometimes (like with the flower in this mani), but when I put it over a mani that mani tends to last a full week with minimum chips. Lately any damage to my nails has been from something weird like tape or mostly me picking the polish off.
Well I hope you like and have a perfectly polished day!!!
