*sinful colors, white
*formula x (base, 2 coats)
*orly, twilight (1 coat)
*orly, chip resistant top coat
*nails inc, caviar top coat

I used the paper bag method to create the stripes and then added them to make the full look. At first I used scissors to cut the strips but later I used an exacto knife to make it easier.

Graffiti

Used:
*Milani, Raving Violet (2 coats)
*OPI, Push and Shove (dry brushed)

This was my attempt for a Halloween mani this year. I don't like doing obvious looks because they just aren't something I would like to wear on a regular day basis.

Day 28: Inspired by a Flag/ Color guard

Used:
*Wet n wild, Haze of Love (2 coats)
*Formula X, Out of Sight
*Milani, Art of Silver

I didn't want to use a regular country flag cause personally I'm not a huge fan of doing stuff like that. So instead I found this picture of a color guard flag I found on google that looks awesome and used that instead. It also let me use one of my favorite polish colors Haze of Love, which is an amazing deep burgundy with a hint of chocolate brown to it.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 21: Inspired by a Color/ Ox Blood

Used:
*Wet n Wild, base coat
*Color Club, Haute Couture (2 coats)
*Sinful Colors, Matte top coat
*Milani, Art of Silver
*Scotch blue painters tape

I decided to have a little fun with this so here is my fancy negative design. This is also the first time I've used this polish. It's a beautiful crelly like ox blood polish, though it looks a lot like black. It's lovely and opaque in one to two coats depending how thick it is.
I also like the matte finish cause i've been wanting to play with my matte polish. It's half empty though which makes me sad, but its still good and works pretty well. I used the silver to fix up the edges of the lines.
So, I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 6: Purple/ Violet Delicate China

Used:
*Sinful Colors Shine, Wisp
*Wet n Wild, Bite the bullet
*Avon, Loving Lavendar
*Milani, Rapid Orchid
*CQ, Mint Green
*Sephora and OPI, Evey on the eyes
*Sephora and OPI, Why yellow there

I love this look. I did once with blue flowers and loved it too so I thought I'd recreate it for this prompt. I also tried out a new polish SinfulShine wisp. This may become my go to white now. It has great coverage though the shine on one coat wasn't that extraordinary. Though I really like this polish! I hope you like it and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 4: Green/ Geometric Green

Used:
* CQ, mint green
*Maybelline, Vintage Leather Ageless Olive
*Milani, Art of silver

This is a combo of two things I dont do often but love: tape manis and negatives space manis. They always look so good. To get this one done faster I freehanded the green line and then used tape to put on the darker lines.
I also got to try out my other vintage leather by Maybelline which made me really happy! I love this stuff, it's just sad that if you put a top coat on it it ruins the intended finish, which makes the polish look so good. I love the finish.
So since I'm still in school I'm gonna take a day or two off after this one since I always have a lot of work to do. I'm actually surprised that I got to day 4 without having to stop.
So I hope you enjoyed this and that you have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 3: Yellow/ Neon Pool Party

Used:
*Deborah Lippman, On the Beach
*Essie,
*Milani, White
*Wet n Wild, clear coat

I really wanted to try this color out so I decided to incorporate it into todays theme: yellow!!!
My white is old and quite lousy so it took forever to dry and caused some bubbles, but I just wanted to see how it would look this time around.
Plus I found out that I reallly do like this neon yellow as a nail color, so I may even try it out again after this challenge!
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

*Sephora and Pantone, tangerine tango creme
*Sephora and Pantone, tangerine tango glitter
*Julie g, jet set top coat
For today i experimented with a white base for this awesome orange and i love it! I just wish i had a better white to put under it since mine is a little too thick and yucky. Ive had it for a little to long and its almost gone.
So i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!
And dont forhey about the #31DC2014 nail art challenge that is going on now!!!
