My Bare Nails

This was taken before I tried my new gel kit from Nuluv and after using Sephora cuticle oil in the sponge container. But might as well start the new year trying to fix my discolored nails, right?

Burberry plaid

Used:
*black striper
*sinful colors, white
*formula x (base, 2 coats)
*orly, twilight (1 coat)
*orly, chip resistant top coat
*nails inc, caviar top coat
*julep (red stripes)

I used the paper bag method to create the stripes and then added them to make the full look. At first I used scissors to cut the strips but later I used an exacto knife to make it easier.

Matte black and silver metal

*opi- push and shove
*sally hansen- black
*pure ice- matte top coat
* hoof- base coat

For these I used a plastic bag to make polish strips and i did one coat base coat, one coat primer, one coat gel base coat, the polish strip and then lastly one coat of the gel top coat.
