The Artsy Muse

It's official, I have finally found nail art strips that I absolutely love. The design is amazing, they were easy to use and have minimal to no wrinkles at all. Plus all my nails had a fit.
Recently I was at the Dollar Tree and since they were discontinued, Project Runway styles these were there. So even the price was good. The only thing I have to say is PULL AT THE TIPS BEFORE FILING, it evens out almost all of the wrinkles and stretches the strips to fit even better.
After wearing these the past two days I kinda dont ever want to take them off. And I also wish I had picked up a few more of these, (and maybe one or two more in this design) though they did only have three styles. They even stood up to showering, doing laundry and CLIPPING and REFILING my nails without getting ruined. So without further ado the pictures. I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Glittery Tips

Used:
*Nyc, 105A
*OPI, Last Friday Night

This was a mani i decided to due because I wanted a kinda french and I also wanted glitter. I know I used more polishes than these two but I can't remember what else I used. So at least you know the two main glitters. So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Floral Galaxies

Used:
*Fright Night, Black (1 coat)
*Nyc, 105A (1 coat)
*Sinful Colors, Matte top coat
*Avon, Vintage Blue
*Sally Hansen, Blue Me Away
*Revlon, Royal
*Wet n Wild, French White Creme
*Skewer stick tool

This was a really easy fast mani since I started with just one coat of black, added glitter and then a matte top coat. Lastly I added the flower with my skewer tool and ta da, something fancy with minimal effort and less drying time then a crazy mani (though I still love to do those).
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Elegant Black with a Bow

Used:
*Sally Hansen Saloan Nail Lacquer, Made You Blush (3 coats)
*Sally Hansen Star Opal Glaze, Violet Opal (1 coat)
*Rubie's Costume Company Nail Polish, Black Magic
*Wet n Wild, Crystal
*Wet n wild, wild shine top coat

Recently my neighbor gave me some of her old polishes and of course I had to try some of them out. And what better way then by doing an elegant half moon mani. So that's what i did. And I used my black polish pen to outline the moons and then filled them with Black Magic. It was easier than free handing them or using the stickers, for me. I also added the glitters from the one polish, crystal using a qtip that i cut the fluff off of. It actually worked pretty well.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

A simple look

Used:
* essie, secret affair (3 coats)
* color club, electronica
* sally hansen, white french manicure
* rhinestones
* wet n wild, wild shine top coat
I love the look of this. And this polish by essie is a perfect little charm. It does take a lot to get it opaque if by itself. But its a mix of white, cream, and even a little nude with a delicate sparkle. When i saw it i thought besides the name, its a perfect bridal color.
Adding the purple made a nice pop to the mani and it was opaque in one coat.
Afterward i added a little flower with a rhinestone. I was actually trying something to do on someone elses nails but i love how it turned out. It really tied the look together.
So i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Scrabble anyone

Used:
*rimmell london, caramel cupcake
*essie, not just a pretty face
*newspaper
*aero, back nail art pen
*wet n wild, wild shine top coat
I saw this idea on One Nail to Rule them All's blog. She had them done with the word love using first just polish and then with strips made from her original design.
Since i didnt want to go out and buy wraps especially since i really dont like wraps.
So instead i used newspaper. Cutting out letters from the titles and using water and a cotton pad to transfer the look.
Lastly i sealed it with top coat and ta da, an easy mani thats cute and very wearable.
So i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Accented with some cheetah

Used:
*wet n wild, unknown mini turquiose (2 coats)
*wet n wild, unknown mini gold glitter (1 coat)
*wet n wild, red a good book (1coat)
*fright night, ruby red slippers (1 coat)
*wet n wild, wild shine top coat
 Cheetah spots
*milani, art of gold
*aero, silver polish pen
*fright night , black
I love the difference between the red and tiffany blue. I thought at forst that it might not work out but i actaually quite love it. It was also simple and very easy and quick to do. All you need to know how to do is paint your nails and then add dots to make the cheetah print.
So i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Distressed

Used:
*deb, black (2 coats)
*icing, silver (dry brush)
I saw this on chalkboard nails and wasnt sure about it. But i wanted to do some fun black nails so i decided to try it out.
I have to say its pretty nice. I like the look a lot and it takes black and makes it more wearable as well as making this silver more wearable too.
I would definitely try it again or do this same look again. So i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!
