V-Day Surprise

Used:
*Wet n wild, french white creme (2 coats)
*Opi + Sephora, Why Yellow There
*Sinful Colors Nail Art, Peace n Love
*Sally Hansen, Twisted Pink
*L.A. Colors, Electra
* Scotch Blue Painters Tape
*Cosmetic Sponges

I have wanted to try making an ombre heart mani ever since I saw a tutorial for it online. It's very simple and worked awesome.
For my other nails I first sponged on some of the yellow. Then I took a polish with a striper brush and freehanded designs onto each nail. At first I was going to do full roses but then I decided not to since I do them so much.
So this is what I will be sporting for the next few days till V-Day. I love how this mani though is still wearable without this occasion. So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

This is the heart alone
And this is the picture tutorial that I had seen online, I used painter's tape instead of regular scotch tape cause it works better for me and doesn't rip when im pulling it off. I don't know who posted this since theres no watermark and i've had it saved on my computer for awhile. Please comment if you do though! Thank you!

Super Chrome

Used:
*Orly, Orlon basecoat (1 coat)
*Sinful Colors, Super Nova (2 coats)
*Wet n Wild, Wild Shine Top Coat

This is a gorgeous champagne chrome that I love! And its wearable by itself without any nail art for me, which is hard to find for me. It hides any bumps on your nails and doesnt bubble. You can get away with one thick coat or two thin and have full opacity. The best part of this polish is that it has a chrome almost foil like finish that shines even with little light! Oh and its usually sold for under $2, unlike other chrome polishes that are coming out now.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day

Galaxy Print

Used:
*Base Avon, Vintage Blue
*Sponged Avon, Loving Lavendar
    CQ, mint green
Wet n Wild, French White Creme
    L.A. Colors, Electra
*Newspaper
*Water and cotton pad
*Wet n wild, Wild Shine top coat

Well I'm not sure if anyone else was bored and tried something like this, but I decided too. Thanks to an extra newspaper sitting on my desk and having just done my bff's nail in traditional galaxy print. So here's what happens when you sponge to make an awesome pastel galaxy and then take a cotton pad you dipped in water to apply newspaper and held it done for a few seconds, then added top coat.
I also left the accent nails alone to have one fun galaxy print nail per hand.
Warning though if you want darker newsprint you should probably add a layer of top coat after sponging and dotting and then do the newspaper. I think thats why the newsprint is so weak in my look.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!
