Day 31: Honor nails you love/ Kitty Cats

Used:
*Sinful colors, wisp (2 coats)
*aeropostale, black polish pen
*wet n wild, french white creme (for appliques)

I have finally finished the 31 Day Challenge!!! It took longer than I would have like, but I finally did it and I think I got some really good manis out of it.
For this I once again used the plastic bag effect to make the kitty and some of the paws. One or two i did by hand. The appliques arent the exact color as the polish beneath which is a bit annoying, but overall i actually like how this looks. I saw this on my facebook one day and knew I had to try it, so here it is.
So i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 30: Inspired by a Tutorial/ Patchwork Princess

Used:
*Sally Hansen, breezy blue (3 coats)
*sinful colors, peace n love
*so easy stripe rite, white
*so easy stripe rite, pink

So I really wanted to do this look for awhile. Problem is i dont have striping tape. So in the spirit of the nail art challenge I worked hard to make this look freehand. The only thing I disnt add was the dots because I just really liked how it looked without them.
So heres the tutorial along with the pics of my design. I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!!

Day 29: Inspired by the supernatural/ Witchy mirror

Used:
*Wet n wild, Haze of Love (2 coats)
*OPI, Push and Shove (2 coats)
*Aeropostale black polish pen

I have found that sometimes with this polish it's easier to make this polish seem super shiny and mirror like by putting two coats of a great polish under it. This bumps the shine and hides any imperfections on the nail easily. This time I just used what I had on from my last mani. It defiantly worked well on the names that I used it on. The only one without it is my accent nail, it shows a good contrast.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 28: Inspired by a Flag/ Color guard

Used:
*Wet n wild, Haze of Love (2 coats)
*Formula X, Out of Sight
*Milani, Art of Silver

I didn't want to use a regular country flag cause personally I'm not a huge fan of doing stuff like that. So instead I found this picture of a color guard flag I found on google that looks awesome and used that instead. It also let me use one of my favorite polish colors Haze of Love, which is an amazing deep burgundy with a hint of chocolate brown to it.
So I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 27: Inspired by Artwork/ Hawaiin Lily

Used:
*Sally Hansen, Petal Pusher
*Sephora, Speed Dating
*Maybelline, Green with envy
*CQ, mint green
*Sally Hansen, Mellow Yellow

Well I went a little odd on this one and decided to play with stuff. I used dry polish to try and make a more layered look so that the petals wouldnt seem as flat as if they were just painted on. I'm not sure how much I like it but I knew I couldn't do a perfect rendition of the piece so I just decided instead to have a bit of fun with the prompt.
I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 26: Inspired by a Pattern/ Denim Ikat

Used:
*Fingerpaints, Art You Blue?
*Sally Hansen, Petal Pusher
*Sally Hansen, French manicure white
*So Easy Stripe Rite, Black
*Wet n wild, wild shine top coat

I tried an ikat print awhile ago over a foiled polish so I though this would be a great time to try it again on another interesting polish. Art You Blue is kind of a mix between a glitter and a metallic that gives my the impression of denim.
So I hope you enjoyed and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 25: Inspired by Fashion/

Used:
*VS, Room Service
*Sinful Colors, Lavendar
*Color Club, Haute Couture
*Fingerpaints, Purple Palette
*Sephora. Speed Dating

For this I wanted to simplify the look from the dress below to make it super easy and fast but also pretty. So this is what I came up with. I also didn't want to do a white background because I feel like I've done a

This is the look I was inspired by. I found it on google images.

Day 24: Inspired by a Book/ Monster High

Used:
*Sinful Colors, Ardoise (2 coats)
*Sephora, Speed Dating (2 coats)
* Sally Hansen studs kit

Well I'm just in a Monster High mood so I decided to add some pieces from the first book's cover to this mani. I used the dark color, rhinestones and of course the hot pink. I didn't want to make it obvious about what it was so I didn't add a logo or anything like that to it.
I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!!

This is with only one coat of Ardoise

Day 23: Inspired by a Movie/ Monster High Freaky Fusion

Used:
*China Glaze, Sexy in the city (2 coats)
*China Glaze, Liquid Leather
*Sinful Colors, Matte finish

I'm not sure how much I like this on me but I think I got pretty close to the look from the movie. I picked the new Monster High movie which was awesome, by the way. So here's the look Franky wore at the end.
I hope you like it and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 22: Inspired by a song/ Applause

Used:
*Sally Hansen, Shell we dance
*Essie, Mojito
*Sinful Shine, Most Sinful
*Sephora, speed dating
*Sinful Color, Ardoise
*Julie jet set top coat

I was inspired by the splashes of makeup that Lady Gaga wore for the album cover. So here's my take on a nail art form of it.
Hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Day 21: Inspired by a Color/ Ox Blood

Used:
*Wet n Wild, base coat
*Color Club, Haute Couture (2 coats)
*Sinful Colors, Matte top coat
*Milani, Art of Silver
*Scotch blue painters tape

I decided to have a little fun with this so here is my fancy negative design. This is also the first time I've used this polish. It's a beautiful crelly like ox blood polish, though it looks a lot like black. It's lovely and opaque in one to two coats depending how thick it is.
I also like the matte finish cause i've been wanting to play with my matte polish. It's half empty though which makes me sad, but its still good and works pretty well. I used the silver to fix up the edges of the lines.
So, I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!
