A bloody chocolate

Wet n wild, haze of love and icing silver on my accent nail to do the backward french tip that i was dying to try.
I love the color of this polish. Its a mini that i got from a wet n wild megalast polish gift set. The color of this polish is a chocolate brown red. I know that sounds wrong but this polish astounds me. Its a creme that opaque in two coats. In some lights it looks chocolate brown in others it looks likes drying crimson blood red. I love the how it looks by itself so much that i only did a little on my accent nails.
This polish has a good shine on its own that was sadly ruined when i went to bed cause it wasnt fully dry. So the next day to fix it i added a medium coat of wet n wild wild shine clear coat that i absolutely love. I have to say it is one of my favorite top coats. It has a great shine and tends to fix scratches that are acquired from my lovely bed sheets and wear.
I hope you enjoy ans have a perfectly polished new year!!!

Re blued

Well i went to walmart today and saw the new selena gomez collection by nicole for opi and i had to try one.
I tried out stars at night over my accent nail. Stars at night is a clear coat filled with holo bar glitter. After ciates jewelry i am starting to fall in love with bar glitter though sadly i dont own any.
Then i took my ulta fashionably late from one of their glitterati collections and added it to my tips.
Now i think im finally done. Well possibly. Enjoy your holiday and i hope its perfectly polished!!!

Christmas jelly

Revlon has become a must have for my polish stash. I just got my hands on royal and celestial fx and i had to try them together, which is how this mani erupted.
Royal is true to its name. Its a beautiful royal blue jelly polish. Its opaque in only two coats. Which is amazing! It also has a slightly matte finish that i defiently would have kept if i wasnt layering with this glitter.
Celestial is a mix of silver holo micro, diamond, star and moon glitters with added iridescent micro glitter. Its beautiful, like the night sky in a bottle. Though it look better when you only have one piece of glitter with the micro glitter.
At first i didnt really like this look but its growing on me. I layered the blue over my essie post i did a few days ago. I did one royal, one celestial, one royal and clear. For the accent nails i just put another layer of celestial over the blue and skipped a top coat.
Well i hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished christmas!!!

Adorable head phones

Arent they awesome. I just got them today. Well thats all so have a perfectly polished day!!

An essie jelly

This is my new way around only french manis for work, a french mani base without white. It's perfect, though you can see its a little messy since I finished it in less than twenty minute. I used a felt tip polish that i got at the Christmas Tree Shoppe awhile ago. It was really cheap. The brand is Hoof Hands, 'in the nude'. Its also opaque in like one coat cause it has a paint like consistency. I used this to make the Essie opaque in less coats.
I then used two coats of Essie 'not just a pretty face' on top without a top coat. For some reason this polish has a really nice shine without one, which makes me very happy. Even though I love doing my nails, I hate taking polish off, especially with remover. When I use glitter I try my best to peel off as much as I can before getting out the remover.
The way these two worked together is really cool because one way it's very pink and then the other is really nude. I also recently just had to cut my nails because I broke one in baton class after trying to catch my baton with my nail. Don't know how but that's my luck and yeah. So now I'm really like tiny nails. Especially how they feel when you type.
I used to have really long nails, I try to get them long every once in a while but they always tend to break. Well that's enough ranting from me and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Snowy blue

This mani is probably the only holiday one i will get to this year. I used avon vintage blue as the base. Milani white for the dots and the white striper for the snowflake. I also added a coat of orly twilight over the snowflake to seal it. I absolutely love this blue. Its just so pretty!! Well hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

A purrfect birthday!!!

Today is my birthday and my mom got me some pretty awesome gifts. One being katy perrys' purr frangrance. I love the smell of this perfume though i love the bottle even more. It purple which is my favorite color, but it is also shaped like a kitty cat. And so is the back. You can even take off the collar and use it as a ring if you please.
I also got a cute cat pedant with matching black stud earrings. And they are cubic zarconium, which is pretty sweet.
While thats all for today. Hopefully i will have a wintery manicure for u soon, but since i had work i couldnt wear my beloved polish. Enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Tangerine tango

Yesterday i got the pantone and sephora nail set in tangerine tango. It was also extremely on sale which made it even better!!!
I never thought i would want to own orange polish before, but i was wrong. I actually love this set.
This set comes which four versions of tangerine tango. A glitter, a shimmer, a creme and a matte. This set also made me fall in love with matte.
For this look i used two coats of the matte and added a triangle of the glitter to my accent nail. To make it show better i outlined it with a sinful color striper that i posted about before called take me to heaven.
To top it off i added a flower rinestone.
Then i added shimmer to the matte to make the other nails even more interesting. I really lovd them all and im pretty sure im gonna love the creme one too.
Well i hope you enjoy and that you have a perfectly polished day!!!

This is the two coats of tangerine tango matte.

Striped firefly

The other day i showed you firefly in all ite brillance and today i had to add just a bit more. I used tape to get the black line and my sinful colors take me to heaven striper that i showed in a past post. It brings out the green flash of the polish brilliantely!!! Well thanks for reading and have a perfectly polished day!!!
Im also gonna try and post more but its a bit difficult with my no polish wearing job. Hopefully ill have more time to try, but i hate wasting polish so i want to get a few days wear out of it. This week i dont have work again till saturday so that gives me a week to play.

Firefly

I decided to do a simple one color mani to satisfy my polish needs. I found this on sale at Kmart. And I love the color flashes it has. It reminds me of a peridot dupe but instead if a yellow base it has more of a copper which I like a lot better.

Shown is two layers per nail of Sally Hansen lustre shine, firefly.

I love how when I move my nails there's flashes of green, but when their flat they are more coppery pink. Well I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

Perfectly pink

Needed:
( see picture )
*missing- caviar beads, black striper and white striper

Since I'm possibly starting my new job on Saturday I am doing as much nail at as I possibly can. Why I can't just wear gloves is beyond me.
So as you can see I used a few different polishes. Each nail has two coats of either chunky holo fuschia and cha cha red. Only the fuschia has a top coat.
I am absolutely in love with cha cha red by sinful colors. The color is beautiful abd different and the formula is amazing. I could have gotten away with just one coat, but I wanted an extra coat.
Kleancolor polishes slightly astound me. They have an odd smell to them and the chunky holo isn't as great as I wanted. I do love how the glitter goes from orange to green and slightly red though. I just think holo is the wrong term since it has no holo shine.
Well I hope you enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

My nail file

I just got a job that will require me to not wear polish which makes me really sad. So I am now experimenting with other ways to use polish. I'm addicted to the butterfly nail art so I used that on my file. So enjoy and have a perfectly polished day.

Glamoflage

Needed:
* Black polish
* Black Jelly polish (Glamoflauge)
* Top coat (wet n wild, clear)

This black polish absolelutely suprised me. This pic is just one regular coat. Usually I need two for this dark of a look.
Glamoflauge is a dupe of deborah lippmans bad romance and I have to say I quite love it. This is from the same kit as hide and go sequins that I swatched in my last post.
I used one coat of glamoflauge over one coat of the frigjt night black and a top coat. The one thing that really surprised me with these two polishes is that they dry matte even though their jelly polishes. There is one major advantage to this though, it dries a hack if a lot faster than I would have thought.
So because of the matte finish I added one coat of wet n wild clear to give it the shine I love. I'm just not completely sold on matte polishes yet for some reason. They look great in pics but never as great on my nails.
Well enjoy and have a perfectly polished day!!!

This black polish absolelutely suprised me. This pic is just one regular coat. Usually I need two for this dark of a look.

This shows the matte look of the polish, and was also before I cleaned up my nails.

No hate

I learned that yesterday was stop hate day for bullying. So since I didn't have time to put a new mani together I decided to post the hello kitty nails without the hello kitties. Sadly they came off quick and being me I couldn't resist snapping a pick. Hope you enjoy and spend the no hate campaign. Have a perfectly polished day!!!

Universal sequins

Needed:
*jelly glitter polish (ulta, hide and go sequins)
*top coat (wet n wild, clear)

I love this polish. Its a dupe of deborah lippman, across the universe. And i think it does a dang good job from the picturrs I've seen online.
Hide and go sequins is part of the glitteratti set by ulta. Also known as the DL dupe set since three of the four polishes are just that.
This took three coats to get opaque and I love the jelly look it has. I've wanted one like this for awhile. This dried quite fast as well which I didn't expect. The only downfall is that it dries matte.
I can't wait to try the rest of the set.
