Glitter Sammich

Needed:
  • Sheer Polish (OPI Bubble Bath)
  • Glitter Polish (Wet n Wild Crystal)
  • Glitter Polish (Wet n Wild Kaleidoscope)
  • Top Coat (Clear)
This is one of the most annoying and yet easiest looks to create. This one was particularly annoying due to the fact that it took around ten coats of polish. Ten. Yet the application is extremely simple and no nail art skills are needed beyond painting a full nail.

This is the simple breakdown of the coats used for this mani:
  • Two coats of Bubble bath
  • One coat Crystal
  • One coat  Wild Kaleidoscope
  • One coat Bubble Bath
  • One coat  Wild Kaleidoscope
  • Two coats Bubble Bath
  • Top Coat
I used two glitters cause Crystal is more hexagons and hard to get out while the other one comes out easily and was colorful, which i really like. Another great thing about glitter sandwiches is that they look good with both short nails and long nails. I originally saw this on a different blog and the girl had long square nails and it still looked gorgeous.
There are ways to do this mani without so many coats. If you start with a mostly opaque base and then put a potent glitter and one or two coats of a sheer over you can get a similar effect with less time spent.
